This museum specialises in the industrial heritage of the IJmuiden region, especially the renowned steelworks. Showcasing objects, old documents, photos and film material, visitors can enjoy a taste of what life was like in the cavernous iron and steelworks. The museum is actually based in the old ‘buizengieterij’ (pipe foundry), just outside the industrial terrain of Tata Steel.
